Each morning, he walks to school through cold, clinging mud, his feet wrapped in torn slippers that offer little protection. Darius, his mother, and his six siblings were abandoned and forced from their home by their father. Since then, they have survived one night at a time\u2014sleeping wherever someone could offer a corner, and often beneath the open sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked what he wished for this Christmas, Darius didn\u2019t speak of toys or sweets. In a quiet voice, he said, <em>\u201cA Christmas tree\u2026 and a home.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Christmas, the <strong>Together To Help<\/strong> campaign invites us to carry children like Darius in our hearts.
